We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Randy Salerno. Remembering Randy is a special opportunity to enjoy a day of golf and a Caribbean-themed party in the evening. Your participation will help to build the foundation created in Randy's name, which strives to touch lives and transform futures.  Both events will be held right in the center of the community he loved.

The Event

The 2008 signature event of the Randy Salerno Foundation is the Celebrity Golf outing and evening party.

The golf tournament will be held at Boone Creek Golf Club in McHenry, IL. Boone Creek was Randy's course where he spent his Sunday mornings with friends all summer long.Celebrities from CBS, WGN and local sports teams will be on the course to help you enjoy the day.

To culminate the day, a festive evening celebration, "Under the Caribbean Twilight," will take place at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake, IL. The highlight of the party will be a performance by Mac McAnally from Jimmy Buffet's Coral Reefer band. The event will also feature two live bands, plenty of food and spirits and both silent and live auctions.

Both events take place July 18, 2008.
Proceeds from the  2008 event will go towards educational assistance and community enhancement projects, among the recipients in 2008- scholarships are being awarded to Crystal Lake South High School and Illinois State University.

If you purchased tickets prior to 16:00 CDT on July 1st, you will receive your tickets in the mail by July 10th.  If you do not receive your tickets by the 10th, please send an email to mike.lazar@gmail.com.  All tickets purchased after 4 pm on the 1st will be available at the Will Call area of both events (golf & dinner).
